BLOG TOUR ~ A Whole New Crowd by Tijan!

Taryn grew up in a different world.
Her boyfriend was a criminal. His older brother was part of a gang. They weren't great people, but they were her family. Then everything changes when she's sent to a new family in the neighboring town. New family. New friends. A new world. She's elated. This is her chance for a new beginning, but secrets start being revealed and Taryn learns her new life has some ties to her old one, ties that she's not happy about.
Her new family might not have been the lucky break she thought she had.

“Right.” He was like a drug. “I won’t have sex with you.”
He chuckled, teasing me with his breath, and pressed a kiss to the side of my mouth.
Oh fuck. “I mean it.” I tried to sound firm.
“Stay the night anyway.”
I couldn’t. I’d be straddling him in the middle of the night. “No.”
“Please.” He kissed the other side of my mouth and I closed my eyes. It was such a soft graze, but I trembled. He was adding fuel to the fire with each touch, each tease. The wanting was building again so it was a blind lust, a blanket that was folding over me, and I was beginning to not give a damn about what would happen when the blanket completely overtook me.
His hand spread out over my thigh and his thumb dipped down, rubbing the seam of my jeans. It was so close to where I wanted it and I squirmed. An inch further down and he would be right there. My legs spread, just a tiny bit, and I felt him grin against my lips. He knew what spell he was weaving over me. Then he said the magic words, “I won’t let you, if that’s what you’re worried about.”
My heart leapt up and was held suspended.
He brushed his lips across mine again. It was tantalizing and he said again, “I promise. Stay the night. We won’t have sex.”
I tried to joke. “Some good old fashioned humping?” The corner of my lip curved up in a grin, but brushed against his from the movement. We both paused at the caress. A whimper left me. I wanted him so damn much.

“Just stay.”

I have mixed emotions about this book, I loved it, I truly did and I’ve said it before about Tijan that I would recognise her writing in a book without a cover.

Her main characters are very distinctive, badass, tough female MC’s & aloof, melt your panties male MC’s, there’s always an underdog and there’s always a bad guy and that’s where I’m undecided - I think I was expecting it to be mixed up a bit and that was a bit disappointing albeit briefly.

However, what this book didn’t give me in different characters it gave me plot, twists and turns, roller coaster of emotions, many intakes of breath, suspense, mystery and an awesome ending.

Taryn is a system kid, mixed up in her dodgy boyfriends life and gets adopted at 17 into every girls dream home, but as ever all is not what it seems, she can’t let go of her old life, she becomes embroiled in her new life and before she knows it she’s fighting battles on both sides of the fence.
Despite her criminal past, she’s principled and fiercely loyal and there aren’t any lengths she won’t go to to protect the ones she loves.

I liked Tray, he has his own demons and secrets and his quiet smouldering strength of character was addictive, I just wanted a teeeeensy bit more………….now Jase, holy f**k I really hope he gets his own book, he is one hot piece of man and the mystery surrounding him just made him hotter!

All in all, I could never be dissuaded from reading a Tijan release, she is just THAT good, this leant more towards YA than NA but what it lacked in sex it made up for with an impactive storyline and above all it gave me “feels”.

Tijan started writing later in life, after she had already graduated college with a different direction in mind and a different degree under her belt. Hitting the brakes on that path, she taught herself how to write a good book and began posting at sites such as Fictionpress, along with Wattpad. After receiving such encouraging messages from readers, she self-published Fallen Crest High and has continued throughout the year. She continues to keep writing NA books!

BLOG TOUR ~ The Viper by Kele Moon!

Publisher: Loose Id
Tour Organized by: As the Pages Turn

Marcos Rivera is a fighter. A gang member. Someone who has seen the dark side of humankind and survived. He has lost family and gained enemies. He has stolen cars and destroyed hearts, stripping one for money and the other for pleasure. His past is haunted and his future is bleak.

Until her.

Katie Foster is a high school history teacher. Smart, strong, and sexy. She is a woman Marcos shouldn’t want. Shouldn’t touch. Shouldn’t love. He met her in Garnet, a backwards, hick town that’s the last place in the world he wants to be, but he finds himself going back for a taste of the forbidden.

Katie represents all that is good in the world, and Marcos knows he’s nothing but trouble for her perfect life. He fights and he screws. He commits crimes and he breaks the rules. He will never change and he will never escape his gang lifestyle.

Or can he?

What happens when two different people from two very different walks of life risk it all by giving into the passion that threatens to consume both of them? Can a woman who only knows how to play it safe give her heart to a man who lives hard and loves harder?

Will she survive The Viper?

“You’re not exactly a ten, Katie.” Grayson laughed cruelly, reminding Katie why she left to begin with. “No one is going to love you for your mind like I do, not in this town. I’m your best option, and I don’t understand why you did this to us.”
“I think she’s a ten,” a man called from behind them.
Goose bumps danced over Katie’s skin, and she wasn’t sure why until she craned her neck to look toward the direction of the low, male voice. Her body must have recognized what her mind hadn’t caught up with, because walking over to them was Marcos Rivera. He was wearing sunglasses and a baseball hat, but it was undeniably him. She could see the snake tattoo on his arm from there.
He looked larger than life in the late afternoon sun with those impossibly broad shoulders and large, bunched biceps covered in tribal tattoos. She couldn’t help but notice that every inch of him seemed wound tight and ready to jump—like a tiger stalking prey. She blinked, understanding for the first time all those warnings Jules had been leveling at her in regards to Marcos.
This wasn’t the kind, handsome angel from the crash site.
This Marcos looked deadly.
He took off his sunglasses when he stopped in front of them. His light gaze rested on the steely grasp Grayson still had on her arm. “This is the part where you let her go.”
“Excuse me?” Grayson huffed in that annoying superior voice of his that had always embarrassed Katie when he used it in public, usually toward someone parking their car or waiting on them at a restaurant. “This is my wife and—”
“Ex-wife,” Katie corrected before Grayson could finish. She was still staring at Marcos in shock, unable to believe he was really standing there in front of her. “What are you doing here?”
Marcos broke the dangerous staring contest he was having with Grayson. He let his gaze run over her hotly for one long moment, making more goose bumps dance over her arms. A small bit of the tension eased out of his powerful frame, and the look in his beautiful eyes became warm just like she remembered. “I got your messages.”
“My messa—” Katie cheeks heated when she realized what he was talking about and her voice was a squeak of acknowledgement. “Oh.”
There was a quiet moment between them, one charged enough that Katie was actually breathless to be in his presence again after so long. Strangely enough, she could feel it off Marcos too. That electric fission of need so overwhelming it actually showed on his face and translated into something tangible enough that even someone as romantically challenged as Katie could sense it. As if remembering they weren’t alone, Marcos cleared his throat and turned back to Grayson, his eyes narrowed in warning once more.
“Yeah, I’m gonna have to insist you get your hands off her.” He eyed Grayson’s hold on her arm pointedly. “Now.”

I have to first start off by saying I love Kele Moon. This chick has some serious talent! She never fails to blow me away! The Viper was no exception!

Marcos and Katie meet when another person causes a car accident that leaves Katie seriously injured. In the time she is trapped in her car Marco is comforting her and their undeniable connection begins.

Katie is a small town girl who feels trapped. A failed marriage and an ex who doesn't remember that he's the EX has her carrying around her share of baggage!  Marco is exactly the kind of man she shouldn't want but she cannot stop thinking about him. She starts an online campaign to try to hunt him down.

Marco has HUGE demons and carried a load of regret on his shoulders. Trapped in a criminal world that just won't let him go he feels useless. A chance meeting with a school teacher in the small town his cousin now calls home has him wishing he could be a better man and worthy of someone like Katie.

Marco with his dirty mouth and Katie with her sass make this book one that I could not put down! It's suspenseful, a hint of mystery, and some HOT sex scenes with a filthy mouthed Latino will have your panties combust!

This is a HEA and although part of a series can be read as a standalone! I cannot wait to read the next couple's story of the Battled Hearts series!

RELEASE BLITZ ~ Licentious by Jen Cousineau!

Licentious Final Cover

I lost my life when I turned eighteen.
Well, not technically. Technically, I'm still alive. My heart beats, and blood continues to pump through my veins. But my dreams destroyed my family, which ultimately, destroyed who I was. Happiness. What is happiness? Helping others? Making sure I have a smile on my face, especially in the moments when all I want is to die?
Then yes. I am happy.

I wanted to be a doctor.
Instead, I had to fill my brother's role in the family business. And now? Now, I am a heartless, cold-blooded killer. Not every story has a happily ever-after. Mine vanished the day my brother was murdered. That day, who I was, died with him.

When Josephine and Aléssandro's paths collide, their fates try to intervene and save each other.
But can they be saved?
Will the secrets they keep and the betrayals they are faced with destroy what they share?
Or does love truly conquer all?

*Prices include signed paperback, signed bookmark, & shipping* US: $15 CA: $22 INT: $29

I never had a mother. Well, technically, I do, but in reality she’s a total bitch who couldn’t remember to take a pill regularly, and… well, here I am. Surprise! I love my Dad, though. He tries his hardest to make up for my mother lacking on all levels. My brother, Aedan, is seven years older than my sister Eve, and I, but he’s never treated us as ‘annoying little sisters.’ In fact, if you take my Mom out of the equation, we’re a tight-knit family who truly are best friends. Cliché? Maybe. But, fortunately, for us it’s pure truth. I wish I could tell you my life is all rainbows and butterflies, but then I’d be giving you complete bullshit. One dream. My dream broke everything. It destroyed my family, my best friends. It destroyed me. It tore me down, causing me to defend myself the only way I knew how. I just simply stopped caring. Until I met a man who tried to change all that I felt. Until he believed in me, to make me see how beautiful life can be if I just let life in. I started to believe. He helped me see what I was missing, that is until I discovered who he really was. How dark and dangerous he truly was. How believing in him meant turning my back on everything that I believed in. I won’t promise you butterflies and rainbows. Shit, I won’t even promise you a happily ever after, simply because I don’t even know how this is going to end. I’m Joey. Welcome to my hell.
